Badshahi Bagh is located in a flat and wide valley between two ranges of the aravalli at haldighati. It was this site where the Mughal forces, first set up their camp after realizing the difficulty in fighting along the narrow strip of the Ghati. On June 2nd 1576 CE the heroic Maharana Pratap and his warriors had their first encounter with the Mughals.
