There are four localities at Binjor. During 1951-52, Harappan objects and microliths have been found from Binjor-1, PGW, coarse grey and red wares, Rang Mahal ware, perforated and impressed pottery, faience and shell bangles from Binjor-2,Harappan objects from Binjor-3 and PGW, Rang Mahal ware, faience and shell bangles, beads and terracotta animal figurine from Binjor-4. Excavation at Binjor-1 in 1970 brought to light a cultural sequence of three periods. Period I has Early Harappan pottery having close resemblance to that from Kalibangan, period II has Mature Harappan pottery and artefacts and has yielded a C 14 dated of 2090+125 BCE. And period III has reported Rang Mahal pottery datable to the kushana period. There are two mounds here by the name of 6MSR and 4MSR.
