The present mound is roughly 200 m north-south and 270 m east-west in extension and has yield Rang Mahal ware. There is a large modern temple dedicated to the God Hanuman. The large ancient mound in village Munda, situated about 16 km to the south-west of Hanumangarh town, has yielded painted pottery closely resembling Rang Mahal type and copper coins of the Kushanas. Remains of a stupa, numerous relief fragments, decorated bricks, terracotta human and animal figurines and of Shiva have also been found from the site.
