Near the Anasagar lake, the Saheli Bazar building in Daulat Bagh, Ajmer was a prime location for palaces and gardens. Daulat Bagh is a splendid garden with lush greenery and open spaces. The garden was named 'Daulat Bagh' by Shah Jahan , which has recently been renamed as 'Subhash Bagh'. The Saheli Bazar building is a three sided complex which has access from the Daulat Bagh side. This complex has a small and narrow verandah in front. The cells are small in size . The construction material used was stone rubble and lakhauri brick in lime mortar with lime plaster. The Daulat Bagh was used as royal pleasure resort and the Saheli Bazaar building was the resting place for royal women of seraglio (Harem).
